Peotone School District is partnering with the Orland Park Dental Program to provide dental services to our students. If you would like your student to participate in the program this year, please use the link provided. Participating in this program will take care of the dental requirement for Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th and 9th grade students.

Our PES staff had a busy SIP afternoon focusing on our school improvement goals! One School, One Goal!! We kicked it off with our first book club lunch with the book "You Win in the Locker Room First!"
At PES, we have an annual tradition to invite some of our local heroes- Peotone Police and Fire Department- as we remember September 11th. Thank you Peotone Fire and Police Department for your service to our community and for keeping is safe!
Grandparents Day- Save the Date 10/17
It’s a Grandparents Day Year which means we will have a special event at PES for our students and their grandparents and/or grandfriend! We are coordinating it with our Fall Book Fair (and hopefully when our building is a little cooler!). Save the date and share for Tuesday, October 17 from 4:30-6:30pm at PES. Two third grade friends noticed Officer Stankus was sitting all alone at lunch and walked over to ask if they could sit with him for lunch! Way to show kindness kiddos! Officer Stankus loved having lunch with our third graders today!
Classroom Spotlight: Third Grade is working in groups to define, write in a sentence, find a synonym, and draw a picture of our vocabulary words this week!

We had a blast at our Back To School Assembly this afternoon! We went over our schoolwide theme/goal, met the starting line up of our staff, announced our color leagues (cross grade level groups), and played a fun guessing game A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTO for purchasing hats for all our students for their color league. We will wear these throughout the year at schoolwide and league activities!!!
