The last day for students prior to Winter Break will be Thursday, December 21st. On this day, the Peotone Early Education will not be in session; however, all other buildings will operate on a Common Plan Schedule.

Our November “Encourage Physical Well Being” Challenge is to eat the rainbow in fruits or vegetables. Color in a feather each time you eat a fruit or vegetable that color. The League that has the highest percentage turned in will earn a Trophy!

"One of our biggest yearly fundraisers, this event gathers over 500 people and includes raffles, pictures with Santa, and local vendors. This is our biggest family event and we need your help!
We need all the volunteers we can get to help with the breakfast; prepping food, flipping pancakes, dishing up breakfast, and cleaning up the kitchen. We also need a few volunteers to help with the raffles at the end of the event.
Please consider signing up for a 2-hour slot to make this event successful!!
Breakfast will be served from 8:00 am-12:00 pm.

The Peotone PTO will be holding its Annual Pancake Breakfast & Craft Fair (hosted by Skills USA) at Peotone High School on Saturday, December 9, 2023. The event will take place from 8:00AM-Noon. $5 per person; children 3 and under are free.

PES School Families and Community- you are absolutely incredible and so generous! I cannot believe what we accomplished in just five days. We raised $3,874.24! HHH Ranch and Adopt a Soldier will greatly benefit from these donations to continue to serve those in their organization. If you want more information about HHH Ranch and their purpose, please visit https://www.hhhranchil.org/ In addition, I spoke with Sue from Adopt a Soldier last week and she stated that they will be doing even more care packages this year and these funds will help them tremendously.

Congratulations to Mrs. Murray’s Classroom for earning the VIP Session with our special guest- Staley the Chicago Bears Mascot- on 10/30. (Staley is visiting all students for the first quarter popstar reward that day!) Congratulations to the YELLOW League (Palella, Norvilas, Hartsfield, Graniczny) for winning the field trip to HHH Ranch!
Day 4 UPDATE!
We have exceeded our schoolwide goal- over $2,300 in just four days! Way to go PES! All classrooms have earned the Pajama Day (date TBD) and almost all have earned the extra recess. Which League will get a field trip to HHH Ranch on 10/27?!?!? Which classroom will get a VIP Session with our special Chicago Sports guest at our League Day on 10/30?!?!? It is anyone's GAME! All donations must be received by 9:00am on Friday to be included leaderboard. Thank you again for support two incredible local organizations!
Wow! Our Leaderboard was shuffled up today. We will have the classroom donation buckets set up at Grandparents Day tonight.

It was Apple Crunch Day at lunches!
Also, today the STEM Club learned about coding. Each student created a Halloween maze and then wrote a code for a Trick or Treater to get through the maze!
PES Staff had a little too much fun today with a little competition for our monthly team building activity!
Each month we have a different monthly staff focus around the show Ted Lasso (of course something to do with sports!). Our Lasso Leason this month is “Be a Goldfish!”
